About Kathy
I've been working as a tutor for about two years now, mainly teaching 3rd grade math through pre-calculus. Prior to this, I also worked as a mentor in an elementary school where I would have one-on-one sessions with students that were struggling to follow along in class lessons.

I like to start my lessons with review that my students are comfortable with and then lead up to the problems they have been having more trouble with. For new math topics, I walk them through a basic example and then gradually make it more complex and have them teach it back to me.
