I took CHE 1111 last semester at Sinclair and once I nearly failed my first exam, I knew I needed a tutor. And I was lucky enough to find Amanda!
I do have a bit of a learning disability, so I would spend HOURS trying to dissect and comprehend the material and still wouldn’t fully understand it. Once I found Amanda, I would bring my questions to her, and she was able to explain it to me in a way I understood in 5 minutes. It was truly amazing to me. We ended up printing off my lecture professors PowerPoints and would go through them together and I would fully understand the material when we did that. She’d also find practice sheets for me, which helped so much in perfecting the concepts. I ended up receiving a B as my final grade, which would have been impossible if it hadn’t been for Amanda.
If my professor’s lecture material actually matched up with the exams, I’m sure I would have gotten an A.
