About Kaitlyn

I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences in December 2020. I plan to begin graduate school in 2024 and am currently working in the healthcare industry. In school, I excelled in my math and science courses and am excited to help others do so in theirs!

About the lesson

I teach based on need. I like to know specifics on what you are working on, what you need help with, and what about the subject you might already have a clear understanding of so our sessions are clear and efficient for your needs and time. My teaching method is flexible to your specific needs, but I find the best way to learn is by doing. A session with me will likely start with a short explanation and overview of the subject, after which we will do practice questions or problems that we will work through together. If there are issues with understanding, this will be worked out with explanations and example problems throughout the lesson, which I will explain step by step to the student as we work through them. I will also likely ask for the student to practice and answer questions on their own to assess their understanding and address any place of deficiency in the subject matter.

I was having trouble with calculus for a while and i decided to hire kaitlyn as a tutor and i went from a D to an A in the last half of the semester. She is kind and really wants you to learn!
