About Safaa
Hello, my name is Safaa, I graduated from UCSB with a degree in Environmental Science and Architecture. I love to learn about our world and the people in it. I love to connect through education. I believe that every person has something to teach, I happen to teach math and English along with laughter. I have been a tutor for ages 7-15 for 15 years. I have worked at the math lab at UCSB and worked as a proofreader in the English department. Id love to help you excel in any place you struggle.

My teaching is based on a review of old work, seeing where we went wrong and correcting our mistakes going forward. I am an interactive tutor and prefer to give real-life examples and explanations as to why things should work the way they do. I was the child who always asked "why" so I value the importance of understanding your content.
