About Md Main
I am Md. Main Uddin, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at the University at Buffalo, where I also serve as a Teaching Assistant. I completed my M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering from Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), achieving GPAs of 3.90 and 3.73, respectively. My work experience includes serving as an Executive in Biotechnology at NIPRO JMI Pharma Ltd., where I led a molecular biology lab setup project, and as a research fellow at the NSTU COVID-19 Detection Lab, where I was a project leader for SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA extraction and result interpretation. I have strong research experience in biotechnology, computational drug design, molecular biology, and environmental virology, including publications and conference presentations. I possess technical skills in viral RNA extraction, DNA/RNA sequencing, RT-PCR, HPLC, fermentation, and a range of lab equipment. Additionally, I am proficient in MS Office, Adobe software, and have strong communication skills in scientific writing and presentations. My leadership roles, fellowships, and training across molecular biology, computational biology, and COVID-19 testing further enhance my qualifications.
