About Layne

I have always been one that has stood by the rule of no question is a dumb question except for the one that you do not ask. I am always willing to help and answer questions. But I take students as seriously as I do coworkers. If I feel that we are repeating the same questions and having the same issues, I devise a different approach to see if that helps obtain the desired outcome. I also like to give as much respect equally across the board to everyone, no matter the subject or time required or allotted.

About the lesson

I graduated with my master's degree with a focus on AGAC-NP. My focus has always been cardiology and acute care. But I am a well-rounded nurse/nurse practitioner. I started my career on step down, moved to ICU, and then ran the Cath Lab. When I was in nurse practitioner school, I transferred to a level one trauma center to work in their trauma OR services. I love training new hires and students, and I find education assistance very rewarding. I would love to help you reach your nursing school and career goals.

Deadly! Layne met me at my level, and was very relatable. Knowing her background which is very similar to mine as an RN, made me feel very comfortable coming into our first lesson. During the lesson she was concise and compacted the information into the most important points, and this was the so helpful because I don’t have to feel overwhelmed about the volume when I go back to make my own review. I love her approach and her knowledge of the topics at hand.
