About Jamie

I have studied music from a young age, picking up the guitar aged 8 and progressed up to higher education level. Graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2015, I have worked primarily as a freelance musician, performing in many function and wedding bands across Yorkshire (rock/pop/funk) and producing my own music. I am passionate about sharing the knowledge and experience I've gained over the years, and want to help people reach their full musical potential. No messing around. Just a solid plan to help you reach your guitar goals. Full DBS check Safeguarding Level 3 certified Strong background working with disabled people.

About the lesson

Friendly, interactive and catered to your own learning style. Whether your goal is to develop your overall guitar skills or just learn your favourite songs, I'll put together the perfect plan for you! Lessons will involve lots of practical exercises on the guitar and we'll also look at some music theory. That being said, my first lesson with you will be about understanding your goals and what you want to achieve from the lessons. From there, we will work together and look to reach those goals! I understand that life is very busy, so I will always try to work around your busy schedules to find the perfect lesson time and environment for you.

I offer a discounted rate for students under 18 with a household income under £23,000 per year. I believe that all young people deserve equal opportunities and socioeconomic background should never be a barrier.
