About Alex
I love the feeling of seeing a student realise some key piece of information or when something really sinks in. I've always been a geek with geography and maybe I am lucky that it came naturally to me at school so I genuinely like to share my knowledge.
However teaching is not my whole life. I like football and as a geography teacher I always love taking as many holidays as possible.

I try my best to keep it simple, as I truly think that geography is based on common sense. I like to have a laugh and build a connection with a student. Students do better (in my experience) when something is fun and I'd rather this approach than simply memorising and reciting facts to a student, boring us both in the process.
