About Jack

A graduate of the National Youth Theatre's award-winning REP company, I have performed on stages around the country including the West End (Duke of York's Theatre), Theatre Royal Stratford East, Somerset House, Manchester International Festival, The Lowry Theatre, Contact Manchester as well as having been seen on the BBC.

I am an emerging associate of the National Youth Theatre and have sat on various audition panels for the institution including for their REP cohort. I have facilitated acting and other creative courses for National Youth Theatre, Contact Manchester, Greenshoe Arts and beyond and am signed by Claire Hoath Management.

About the lesson

I know how hard the industry can be for people that don't have a foot in the door.

Sometimes, all you need is the support of a tutor to help you discover what unique thing it is about you that makes the industry work for you and not the other way round.

With our lessons, I will aid you in discovering what training and future pathway is right for you, as well as demystifying the life a jobbing actor.

What actors need is a toolkit - made up of technique, monologues, games and more - something that you can use in any audition room, rehearsal space or stage. We will work together to create your own unique toolkit that sets you apart from anyone else; whatever room you are in.

I can prepare actors for drama school auditions, NYT auditions, audition technique as well as general acting and performance (including actor-musicianship and self-taping)

I tailor lessons to individual need and am happy to have a free 30-minute session to work out what works best for you. I am able to both teach online and in-person (travelling to you).
