About Mhairi

I am a very warm and approachable person who is extremely passionate and love learning about the world. I love to make people feel at ease and to inspire confidence in them. I am also a very empathetic person and have experience with helping neurodiverse people as I am myself neurodivergent.

About the lesson

I help students to improve vocal technique by showing them various exercises and warm-ups to target areas that need strengthening or relearning. Letting my students choose the repertoire they want to learn is very important to me because I want my students to have freedom and autonomy over who they are as an artist. We will also cover emotional and creative techniques to explore authentic and stylistic expression. The typical lesson will range from 30 minutes to 1 hour. My qualifications are my Bachelor's degree in Popular Music, being a cover teacher at The Music Place, and being an assistant violin teacher for EYM. My lessons are for people of all ages!
