About Matthieu

Hello, my name is Matthieu, I am 23 years old and I am a student of history and geography. I obtained my license in 2020 and intend to continue until the Masters in order to become a history teacher in secondary school. I offer online courses for college / high school level. General and historical culture, methodology and the desire to learn are the things I want to pass on to the students. I mainly specialize in the history of France but I also have knowledge on other subjects (history of the Japanese navy and Roman history).

About the lesson

The courses offered are mainly intended for middle and high school students. I can also have courses for adults on subjects on which I am particularly familiar. The methodology I advocate emphasizes understanding the course rather than accumulating knowledge. For that I try to make the subject of study interesting and I encourage an active participation of the pupils in the course, that it is by the means of oral questions or the questioning of the feelings of the pupils. I offer courses adaptable according to the particularity of the students in order to keep them interested in them. These can vary in shape as can the exercises. I also teach methodology, in particular that of essay writing which is used both for the baccalaureate exams but also for the history license.
