About Amanda

I graduated from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and History. I am currently working towards a master’s degree in Human Osteoarchaeology at the University of Aberdeen. I love to teach others because I firmly believe that IS knowledge is power and that it can be a tool for building a better future. I also know how it feels to struggle in a subject (or subjects), and I want to help others persevere and accomplish what they set out to do the way my tutors helped me.

About the lesson

Each lesson is tailor made to fit the students style of learning. We also work at the students pace to ensure best knowledge retention. I prefer to do regular check ins with students and parents to ensure the student is on track academically and to fill any gaps in their learning.

Stella was great to work with. She stayed in contact with me regularly to be sure her son was on top of his work and any assigned notes. She was very helpful in making sure he met deadlines I assigned. I enjoyed working with Stella and her son immensely!
