About Kelsey
I believe in developing students holistically as performers. This means that I encourage my students to make their own decisions as artists, even if it does not align with my feedback. At the end of the day, students need to own their artistic integrity. I do not believe in coaching students to all perform the same way, but rather, celebrate their individuality and embrace their perspective in my classroom.

Welcome
Vocal/Physical Warm-Up
Discussion about previous lesson/discoveries since last time
Direct instruction (a video, a text, etc.)
Discussion about discoveries in text
Guided practice (student performs current monologue/scene)
Side coaching (positive/constructive feedback)
Perform current piece again incorporating changes suggested from feedback (process can repeat multiple times)
Wrap Up (What did you learn today? What do you need to work on for next time?)
