About Toby
My name is Toby, and I’m excited to be here to help you learn and grow. When I was younger, I struggled with maths because I didn’t always get the teaching and support I needed. That meant I had to teach myself a lot of it — which wasn’t always easy, but it taught me the value of patience, persistence, and clear explanations. Because of that experience, I really want to be the kind of teacher I wish I had. I want to make complex ideas easier to understand, to break things down step-by-step, and to support you as you build your confidence and skills. I believe everyone deserves the chance to learn in a way that works for them, and I’m here to help you find that.

- Discussion of the topic at hand, typically go through the structure of example questions - Go through simple question together, then set them to attempt a similar question - Move onto more difficult question and discuss how we would approach it and then let the student attempt with my assistance - Move onto the most difficult question, they could be asked and then go through start to finish - Set them a question to prove they have learnt the method for the question and give them a handful of questions to attempt by themselves BSc Economics with Maths, tutored from primary school to A level standard 30 - 60 minute lessons
