About Albert
I have worked for 13 years as a software specialist at an international biotechnology corporation, in the specific field of transplantation diagnostics.
I was born and raised in Los Angles, in a large family of 12. As a result of my large family, and love of teaching, I have developed a marked joy for guiding young minds in the pursuit of self-improvement through the attainment of self-imposed goals.
I am a nerd at heart, a gamer, and a philosopher. I am interested in the whole person, in whomever I meet, and want to inject a degree of personality and fun into everything I do. To me there is no greater joy than the fun of facing a sizable challenge and improving in the face of it.

I leverage a personal approach to teaching, absorbing the specific wants and needs of my students to tailor lesson plan that will work best for them.
We will start our tutoring with a review of the current relevant topics to the student's learning goals. From there, we will map a goal directed plan to achieving excellence in the required subject. At the start of each lesson, we will review the current goals to reorient or course-correct for any difficulties encountered, allowing the student opportunities for critical thinking and problem solving around issues they encounter on their learning journey.
My lessons are focused towards high school level students for STEM related subjects including: Math, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Philosophy.
