About Lucas A
I woke up and saw her getting ready to go to work, I thought about saying something, but when I noticed that she didn't notice me awake, I decided to remain silent watching her.
Concentrated, she looked in the mirror and meticulously took care of every detail, hair, eyes, skin tone and contours, sometimes she distanced herself from her reflection and as someone who has done so much, she noticed details that only a woman can perceive.
She was beautiful as usual, but not as amazing as when we first met or even when she was getting ready to go out together. I stood there, thinking about all the time it took for her to get that irresistible look and how long it took her to get ready every time she came to see me.
I was also thinking about how many times I forgot to say how wonderful she looked. This morning I pretended to be asleep and when she came over to kiss me goodbye I pulled her by surprise to my side of the bed, looked into her eyes that didn't seem to understand anything and said: 'Sorry when I forget to tell you how much you are. The most beautiful woman in the world. I'm lucky you chose me.' She just smiled, the same amazing smile as always that I hadn't noticed in so long.
That morning, as soon as she left for work, I missed her terribly, a longing I hadn't felt in a long time. I really realized how lucky I was to have her by my side and how lucky I was to realize that without having to lose her.
