About Danielle
About Me
I’m Danielle, a professional photographer with over 15 years of experience working in the photography industry. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the DC area’s top wedding photographers, gaining hands-on experience with high-end weddings, demanding clients, fast-paced events, and the many behind-the-scenes skills that you simply can’t learn from a camera manual.
I also studied photography at the Academy of Art University, where I earned my degree and developed a strong foundation in the technical and artistic side of photography.
Today, I combine my formal education with years of real-world experience to teach photography in a way that is practical, approachable, and easy to understand. My goal is to help you develop the skills and confidence to create beautiful, intentional images—whether photography is a hobby, a passion, or something you want to turn into a career.

Learn Photography With Confidence — From Someone Who’s Been Doing It for 15+ Years
Whether you’re picking up a camera for the first time, tired of shooting on Auto, or ready to turn your photography into a business, this course will teach you how to actually understand your camera and create photos you’re proud of.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of photography in a simple, practical way — including camera settings, exposure, lighting, composition, lenses, posing, and how to approach different shooting situations. Instead of memorizing confusing rules, you’ll learn why your settings work, so you can confidently make decisions on your own.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge and hands-on skills to stop guessing, shoot intentionally, and create professional-looking images in a variety of situations.
What you’ll get:
- Step-by-step photography lessons designed for real-world shooting
- A clear understanding of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and exposure
- Guidance on choosing and using lenses
- Lighting techniques for natural light and artificial light
- Composition and posing tips
- How to photograph people, families, events, and everyday moments
- Practical exercises to help you apply what you learn
- Tips from 15+ years of professional photography experience
- The confidence to take your camera off Auto and start shooting with intention
You don’t need to be a photography expert — you just need a camera and a willingness to learn.
