About Joe
I graduated with a bachelors degree in biology with a concentration in ecology. I also won the Martin Hahn Critic award which backs up my public speaking and writing expertise. I have done physical research out in the field on multiple occasions, such as selective bat species netting, wetland delineations, macroinvertebrate sampling; along with multiple different chemistry labs that dealt with analytical chemistry and titrations, filtration, mass spectrometry, etc.

I understand that not everyone learns the same way; adjusting to your individual needs is my top priority when figuring out how to tackle troublesome concepts in a manageable fashion. That being said, I can teach through PowerPoint or Google Slides, textbook, or creating either Quizlet practice exams/flash cards. I’m also very patient! My work style is very relaxed, but I take the time to make sure that the source material is broken down as easily as possible. I go through section-by-section and point out large key concepts, then ask if they have any specific questions about the general key concepts before diving into any specifics. After that, anything else that may be vague will be re-looked at until the student has a solid grasp.
