About Md
I am excited to teach this chapter because it is a monumental leap from linear thinking to understanding the curvature and complexity of the world around us. This isn't just about finding 'x'. We use quadratic equations to model the trajectory of a basketball, calculate the maximum profit for a business, design a satellite dish, or even understand how a car's brake distance changes with speed. I want to show students that math is the language of motion, design, and optimization.

6 Quadratic Equations Solution by factorization, completing the square, and quadratic formula.
7 Coordinate Geometry Distance formula, section formula, area of a triangle.
8 Real Numbers Euclid's division lemma, Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic, irrational numbers.
9 Statistics Mean, median, mode of grouped data, graphical representation of cumulative frequency (ogives).
10 Surds Operations on surds, rationalization of denominators.
11 Trigonometry Trigonometric ratios, trigonometric identities, simple problems on heights and distances.
12 Mensuration Surface areas and volumes of combinations of solids (cone, cylinder, sphere, hemisphere).
13 Matrices Types of matrices, addition, subtraction, and multiplication of matrices.
14 Probability Classical definition, elementary problems on single events.
15 Constructions Division of a line segment, construction of tangents to a circle.
16 Graphical Representation of Statistical Data Histograms, frequency polygons, pie charts.
