About Agathe
Hello! I have been teaching for two years in history-geography and in economic and social sciences. I also followed the preparation of Sciences Po / IEP courses for two students. During this year I trained 4 first and final students in France (distance) and in Moscow (face-to-face and then distance). For the pupils in difficulty, we took again the bases of the SES and the class average went, after a few months, from 8 to 13. For the pupils in depth, we in turn prepared the competitions and the bac. One student has integrated Sciences Po (Paris) while the second is now a student at Paris Dauphine. The average for the bac, for both of them, exceeded 16.

The first hour of class allows me to assess the student's needs, weaknesses and strengths in order to offer him an adapted program and methodology. Having completed this assessment, I am convinced that an interactive course is the key to effective learning. The objective is to transmit knowledge but also to allow the student to gain autonomy. As far as possible, I regularly offer exercises, to be done outside and during the course, in order to consolidate the learning. The course materials are also varied in order to make the lesson lively and concrete, numerous maps, reprographed documents and anecdotes in history and geography, case studies in SES. I am also available to my students for any additional questions or requests for further study (advice from outside sources, books, films, etc.). Used to an international audience, my courses are aimed at high school students of all levels and of all nationalities.
