My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching I take a supportive, student-focused approach to tutoring, creating a learning environment that builds confidence, encourages curiosity, and helps students reach their full potential. I balance structure with flexibility, tailoring lessons to suit individual learning styles, goals, and pace. • Techniques and Teaching Methodology I use a range of effective teaching strategies, depending on the subject and learner’s needs, including: - Active recall and spaced repetition for long-term retention - Questioning to encourage critical thinking and deeper understanding - Real-world applications and examples to make learning relevant and engaging - Regular feedback and ongoing assessment to monitor progress and adapt lessons as needed I also place a strong emphasis on helping students become more independent learners, by building self-awareness of how they learn best and developing effective study habits. I have over 4 years of experience as a tutor and bring a strong academic background, including: 1. Masters in Data Analytics, BSc Business and Management 2. Experience for primary school students across levels A successful track record helping students improve grades, gain confidence, and prepare for key exams. Bilingual - Tamil and English I am able to connect with students with Tamil too for them to truly understand mathematical concepts.
