About Marlena
Hi there! I’m Marlena Ruiz — a certified school counselor with a Master’s degree in Elementary and Secondary School Counseling, a middle school math teacher for the past five years, and a proud mom of four amazing kids! I’ve spent the last few years making math fun (yes, it’s possible!) and helping students feel confident, capable, and even excited about learning. Whether it’s turning tough problems into simple steps or adding a little humor and creativity into each lesson, I love finding ways to make school feel less stressful and a lot more enjoyable.
