About Jackie John
I am the type of teacher who my students would find easy to work with, yet with boundaries. I feel that educating students from the heart is more effective than teaching them from books. If you ask my regular pupils who I am as a teacher, they will most likely respond "cool instructor" or "a teacher who simplifies complex math problems." If I were to define myself as a teacher, I'd say persistent and unstoppable. Persistent in the sense that I make every effort to help my students. Unstoppable because I won't stop teaching until my students understand the subject.

I'm Jackie John Llanora, and I've been a mathematics teacher for nearly ten years and an online math tutor for five. I teach and instruct using the 'I Do, We Do, You Do' methodology. I believe that children have varied learning styles when it comes to mathematics, but the teacher is the one who plans for them to learn. Teachers are supposed to be the planners, captains, and drivers of learning. I began tutoring by establishing learning objectives that will act as a guide as I lead my students. It also serves as the foundation for determining whether or not the targeted outcome for my students has been achieved. After that, I'll create fun motivations and activities aligned with the lessons so that students' attention will be hooked. Following that, I'll provide exciting motivations and activities that are relevant to the teachings inorder to capture the students' attention. The 'I Do, We Do, You Do' concept will thereafter be used for answering activities. Finally, I will ensure that in the final part, I explain to my students how these subjects might be applied in real-life situations.
