About Teresa

I have lived in four different countries and have been to seven different schools. Eight, if you include my Alma Mater, The London School of Economics (LSE), where I read Economics and completed a Masters. My first job out of university was at Morgan Stanley, where I worked in Mergers & Acquisitions. Having worked coached for over 10,000 hours, I am unique in understanding students and their needs. I also maintain a good relationship with parents, so that everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goal. I am passionate about unlocking potential for students and for giving them the attention and care they need to succeed. I am responsible for numerous students who were below average or in bottom sets, getting into schools that they were told not to apply to. Taking a student who speaks broken English into a top ten independent school in London with a scholarship, takes grit, but it is possible and that’s what makes my coaching different. I focus on the present, the future and results. I am extremely results driven and I know what is required to make it. I use unconventional methods that ensure that goals are met. It takes a certain type of student (and parents) to work with me. Every single student I have worked with has seen their life transformed. I do not give up and expect you not to either. About the lesson

My speciality is A level Economics and my classes are at least 60 minutes long. All of my A level economics students have achieved at least an A, if not an A*. Success in A level Economics is formulaic and success can be replicated by anyone, it is not about how intelligent you are or how much you love the subject, although both can be helpful. The exam is all about technique and understanding the requirements in each of the questions. Economics can be easy, fun and applicable to real life situations - I'll show you!
