Throughout my career I have taught not only other Service Engineers but also the crew with maintenance, overhaul, and principals in the design and how to troubleshoot the equipment they have on their vessels. Also how to recognize any signs of possible failures.

I have been working in the Marine field for over 44 years.
My factory training was the foundation for my past job, 4 years at Bergen Diesel Engines, one year at Ulstein Propellers building gearboxes and TT thruster, and training at Aquamaster in Finland and on the job training with products from Kamewa
My training was specialized at each product center as a Service Engineer with Bergen Engines, Ulstein/Liaaen products, Aquamaster and Kamewa. My training was not only at the factory but also through on the job training, by the best teachers the Product Center had. I have serviced over 360 vessels from Scandinavia, Europe to Australia and from South America to North America.
For the past 15 years I have been in a supervisory role leading shipyard workers, delegating tasks to crew and colleagues while at the same time passing on my skills and knowledge and maintenance information.
