About Taleb
I am an experienced professor, scientist, and academic leader with more than 25 years of teaching experience in chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, and related biomedical disciplines. Throughout my career, I have taught students at all levels, from introductory undergraduate courses to advanced master’s and doctoral programs. My teaching experience includes General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Advanced Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, drug design, drug discovery, and other specialized topics.
Students working with me can expect a supportive, interactive, and intellectually engaging learning environment. I take the time to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and connect theoretical knowledge with practical examples from pharmaceutical research, biotechnology, and real-world drug discovery. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, participate actively, and develop the confidence to solve scientific problems independently.
I understand that students come from different educational backgrounds and have different learning needs. I therefore adapt my teaching approach, provide structured guidance, and use case studies, problem-solving exercises, scientific literature, molecular visualization, and modern technologies to make challenging material easier to understand. My goal is not simply to help students pass a course, but to help them develop a lasting understanding of chemistry and recognize how it applies to medicine, research, and everyday life.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have mentored more than 35 undergraduate students, supervised or co-supervised more than 20 master’s students and 10 doctoral students, and guided numerous postdoctoral researchers and scientists. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide constructive feedback, support students at different stages of their education, and help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
I will do an excellent job because I combine extensive teaching experience, deep subject knowledge, patience, and a genuine commitment to student success. I strive to make every student feel respected and capable of learning. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing students overcome difficult concepts, become confident in their abilities, and develop into independent thinkers, scientists, and professionals.

Hello, my name is Dr. Taleb AlTel. I have more than 25 years of teaching experience in chemistry, working with students at all levels, from introductory and undergraduate courses to master’s, doctoral, and professional-level education. Throughout my academic career, I have taught a wide range of subjects, including general chemistry, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology, drug design, and drug discovery.
Working with me is supportive, engaging, and highly personalized. I understand that students have different academic backgrounds, learning styles, and levels of confidence. I therefore adapt my teaching methods to meet each student’s individual needs. I explain difficult concepts clearly, break complex problems into manageable steps, and use practical examples to connect chemistry principles with real-world applications.
My goal is not only to help students complete assignments or prepare for examinations, but also to help them develop a strong and lasting understanding of chemistry. I encourage questions, critical thinking, active participation, and independent problem-solving. Students working with me can expect patience, clear explanations, constructive feedback, and a respectful learning environment.
I will do an excellent job because I combine extensive teaching experience with strong research and pharmaceutical industry expertise. Over the past 25 years, I have worked with students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds, supervised undergraduate and graduate research, and mentored master’s students, doctoral students, and postdoctoral researchers. This experience enables me to simplify challenging topics, identify areas where students need support, and provide the guidance and encouragement necessary for them to succeed.
