About Jay
I've been acting since I was 2 and haven't stopped since. I am currently in my 20s and studying musical theater, to further my craft because I strongly believe you can never stop learning. I love acting particularly the world of monologues but I understand how stressful it can be, I want to create a safe environment for students to express themselves.

About the lesson

A typical lesson would be 45 minutes to an hour long, we'd not only rehearse your monologue or text but ensure you understand the context of the piece, the character and exactly what they are saying. We'd also work on memorisation techniques. I have a detailed background with children, particularly beginner actors, I have worked in a studio as an assistant teacher/guide, worked in children's parties that focused on imagination and helped friends and family with acting on numerous occasions. My lessons would be best suited to those under 18 who are still trying to develop their craft and figure out what works best for them.
