About Sarah
Hi! My name is Sarah Maynard and I have been a high school social studies teacher for 8 years. I've taught multiple disciplines within the social studies including U.S. History, World History, Civics, and Introduction to Psychology. I value learning and am passionate about my content area. I have a Master's degree in History and am currently working on a doctorate in education at the University of Kentucky.

I love to implement active learning by using questions, reflections, and problem-solving skills into my lessons. I also think it is important that students develop their critical thinking skills. I have successfully taught students in AP U.S. History and a dual credit history class as well.
