My lessons are usually structured around assessing initial confusion from previous lessons, approaching new concepts with student-focused strategies, and leaving students with reasonable future steps for class, practice, or tests. I have a targeted and sustainable approach using consistent memorization strategies, inter-lesson connections, step-by-step understanding, and visuals or analogies for complex concepts. I also have a vast number of study, scheduling, and test-taking strategies, with a science to getting rid of exam-day anxieties. Ultimately, I aim to connect with students and understand their academic strengths and motivators to support them in a low-stakes, friendly environment.
