I begin by understanding the student’s current level, strengths, and areas for development, then shape lessons around targeted support and achievable progress. I combine explanation, guided practice, and active questioning to reinforce understanding, encourage independent thinking, and build confidence over time. My lessons are interactive rather than lecture-based, with a strong focus on clarity, encouragement, and practical application.
A typical lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s age, concentration level, and learning goals. This allows enough time to review previous learning, introduce or practise key concepts, and check understanding without overwhelming the student. Longer or more intensive sessions can also be adapted where needed, particularly for exam preparation or focused support.
