About Rebekah
Hello my name is Rebekah! I currently work as a Research Technician in a neuroscience lab, where I study how the brain regulates metabolism and energy balance. My background in neuroscience research has given me a strong foundation in biology and science, and I have also had the opportunity to tutor students in both the United States and South Korea. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of adapting teaching strategies to meet each student's unique learning style. As a visual learner myself, I understand that concepts do not always click right away, which is why I enjoy breaking down challenging material into smaller, more manageable steps and helping students find learning approaches that work best for them.

To me, tutoring is about more than academics—it is about helping students become confident, independent learners. One of my favorite parts of tutoring is seeing a student gain confidence and realize they can understand material that once felt difficult.
