About Paritosh

I am a working engineer by profession and passionate teacher by choice. I have been teaching in my own engineering college since I was student. I have taken classes of many high school students as well. A good teacher knows the areas where his/her student lack the conceptual understanding of subject. About the lesson

My teaching method is ENTIRELY different from what others have. Since being a student and a teacher at same time ,i know the areas to which great attention is required. I don't believe in mugging up things type teaching without making my student understand the topic and feel confident to tackle any questions. My teaching methodology:

1. Clearing the concept.
2. Relating concept with real life situations wherever possible.
3. Practising lots of questions to make the concept go deep into your subconscious mind.
4. Formulating the problem at the same time knowing it's limitations.
5. All these above boost the fundamental and you are all set to go.

What motivates you to teach & why?
A candle looses nothing by lighting another candle but in this process gains from more light that the next candle is able to shine in the room.Teaching in my humble opinion is similar.
To see my students reaching heights motivates me.
When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?
From the time i started learning things and getting involved into it.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
It would be BENJAMIN FRANKLIN. His one quote"Tell me and i forget. Teach and I remember. Involve me and i learn"
I personally follow this. Without involvement and interest one can't get success.
What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?
If you can find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere.
I faced personal obstacles.
In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?
First the confidence level that your student get after being taught a lesson.
Second: His/her success
What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?
1. Simplify the topic and start over again.
2. Make them practice lots of problems on that particular topics.
3. Changing such attitude of giving up.
