About SOUFIANE
Hey! I am Moroccan living in Agadir facing the waves of the Atlantic. I studied to become a teacher of Arabic, Tamazight (tachelhit) and Moroccan Arabic. I have about seven years of experience teaching these languages to students of all ages and levels, in the classroom and online.

Speaking a new language can be scary and frustrating. If you have to think of what to say, no problem.
I will help you feel more confident speaking Classical Arabic or Moroccan Arabic. I will encourage you to reflect, I am here to put you at ease as we work together to improve your skills.
During my lessons, I use textbooks as well as my own material, so I have a structured approach. The method that I adopt is to anchor the information by varying the activities: dialogues, games, music and videos ... all in a relaxed atmosphere and we follow the rhythm that suits you.
I look forward to seeing you soon!

Soufiane has been my Arabic conversation partner on and off since 2020. Even though I came into his lessons with a fairly advanced level of Arabic, he has still helped me learn quite a bit both about the Arabic language (MSA and Moroccan) and about the culture of Morocco. Just today, he took me through a lesson about a Moroccan folk singer from the 19th century who used her music to stand up to an oppressive local leader. These are fun bits of history you won't get from just anyone. I highly recommend soufiane as a teacher!
