About Carla
This would not be my first time dealing with children. I worked in winter camps, have dealt with groups of children going from early elementary to sixth graders. Once again, I also give tutoring many times per week and my students end up actually learning what I give them. I also love working with children, so I'll always have an encouraging and positive personality with them! I'm also well aware that motivation is an important factor for them, so that's why I like to motivate them too.

To help students that struggle in math, for instance, I simplify the problems and give examples that are easy to understand to better understand the concept. I teach French by making it fun, such as using word games, like: "In ten seconds, the first person to find me a word that starts with A and ends in S wins." What sets me apart is that I already have experience with kids, so I know how to keep their attention on the lesson and what they need. The lessons are for elementary students, in math and French but English as well if needed.
