About Eryn

I am Eryn and I want to change the way biology is being taught within schools.

I had an amazing teacher and sparked my love for biology through her teaching methods. My aim is to take her methods, add my own twist and have the same positive influence on other students as what she has on me.

It is important to me that no student feels alone. We all struggle sometimes and I emphasise that it is okay to struggle but it is important that you ask for guidance.

Asking for help can be daunting. I’d like to create a safe environment for students to learn without fear of judgement.

High school was challenging for me, but my passion for biology was able to take me the extra mile and i used the confidence that i had gained from the subject and put in the work on my other subjects as well.

A good teacher is able to spark passion in any student, regardless of how reluctant they are. Let me help you spark your passion.

About the lesson

Lessons are interactive and very visual. This is in order to truly capture the beauty of this subject and to give students the best experience when it comes to biology.
The aim of my lessons is to not only teach students what they need to know but also expand their knowledge and open their minds.

Lessons will be taught in English and will consist of verbal explanations as well as visual explanations to enhance the students learning and understanding. I am offering these lessons to highschool students, from grade 8 to matric. I am able to help with minor or major misunderstandings, catching up on missed work as well pre-exam preparation.
