About Tavishi
I’ve always had an aptitude for Math, but I used to struggle with school Math since my way of learning was often not the same as my teachers’. So, I spent most of my Math career self-learning. The issue is that most of the time, schools don’t teach Math. They teach how to solve Math problems, and in a very specific way.
Thankfully, my love for Math helped me form ways to not just learn better and faster, but also to understand the way my teachers wanted me to solve problems, helping me succeed in class. After years of self-learning Math, I know the struggles of different topics. So I want to help struggling students, or students who just want quicker ways of doing problems.
I was also nominated to be a part of Academic Leadership (a teacher-nominator-only class where students assist other students in studies), and have experience as an Algebra I Teacher’s Assistant.
