About Lisamarie
I have been teaching in a public High School district for 21 years. I taught Geometry and Algebra for the first 16 years. I teach US History during the regular school year and math related courses in the summer.

My teaching methodology for mathematics is to use visuals, make real world connections and implement formative assessments. Higher level math is a difficult subject for most students. I strive to teach in the simplest terms possible and continuously check for understanding so that I can alter my instruction when necessary to ensure my students are successful.
