About Malachi
I have worked in Higher Education for about five years. In Murray, Kentucky, I graduated from Murray State University in 2019 (BS) and 2021 (M.Ed), with a 3.9 GPA. I work as an Academic Advisor, and I am focused on student development, success, and course curriculum and planning. I am passionate about education and student learning. I teach a college and career readiness course, but I have a strong background in Social Studies, Reading, Sciences, and Stats. I am passionate about student success and assisting students to become college-ready.

My teaching methods take a holistic approach, I try to identify students' needs while focusing on success and focusing on retaining the material.
A typical lesson plan includes outlining the objectives, reviewing last week's material, identifying issues, addressing the issues (focusing on skills and concepts), summarizing and addressing the main points, obtaining student feedback from the material, and asking questions.
My tutoring style is grounded in student development and theory. I also have a background in teaching at the Higher Education Level.
