About Selma
Hey, my name is Selma and I’m currently studying psychology at a Russell group university. I’m the eldest of my four siblings so I love working with children and students. Furthermore, I obtained the role of Head Girl for two years in a row therefore I’m highly organised and I have a passion for creating interventions to aid students with their academic attainment and their school experience. Previously, I have created learning resources for students and I strive to make learning fun, simple and interactive. I have many revision and learning techniques that helped me excel in my GCSEs and A-levels so I can’t wait to share them with you. Moreover, as I study psychology, I understand the importance of Mental Health therefore I want my students to succeed in their academic performance as well as their wellbeing. Lastly, my lessons would include a variety of exam questions and support on how to answer them and receive full marks. Additionally, there would be clear and detailed explanations of topics and a fun quiz to end the lesson off. Thank You! As I fulfilled the role of head girl for two years in a row, I have excellent communication, organisation and listening skills where I was able to enhance all the student’s learning experiences and make education more fun and easier to grasp and retain the knowledge. I volunteered as a numeracy leader for many years where I was able to convert challenging maths topics into easy, detailed and interactive lessons in order for the students to excel in the maths topics required.
