About Danielle

Highly successful, flexible and reliable 7+, 8+, 10+ and 11+ expert tutor. Corporate member of The Tutors' Association. My most recent teaching position was at The Lady Eleanor Holles School, four years ago, before I decided to take the plunge to become a full-time tutor and haven’t looked back since! I am one of the best in the area. This is justified by the huge demand for my tuition service, my hourly price and the extremely high success rate of students passing all exams that they apply for (I am non-selective). 100% of children that I have tutored, that have had regular sessions and have undertaken my mocks and interview practice, have been accepted to at least one of their choice schools. But most commonly, more or all of their choices. Most importantly, the increased confidence of my students is always evident- along with my pastoral care and teaching my students skills for life. I tutor for all entrance exam subjects competently: English, mathematics, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. Homework is always given and is dependent on need and requirement. It is given to consolidate, extend or assess learning.
My price also reflects my extraordinary success rate year on year, my qualified teacher status, my varied and advanced teaching experience, my secret knowledge of exam formats and interview questions for all schools in the area, the amount of resources that I constantly purchase for each child and the conferences and courses I attend to keep up-to-date with teaching developments. I have been a qualified and experienced teacher for twelve years, including a post as an assistant headteacher of mathematics and English. I consider teaching experience vital for being an excellent tutor as I have first-hand knowledge and experience of the curriculum and a versatile approach to teaching it effectively. In addition to teaching exam subjects, I can also assist with scholarships, such as performing arts and art. I gain most of my clients through word-of-mouth but I am always open to finding new clients. I have exceptional drive and motivation to get each child through their exams. Nothing is too big or too small.
I am extremely flexible and spend most of my working week undertaking administration for my lessons/ mocks or liaising with parents (in person, by email or phone) or researching and purchasing resources/ courses that could enhance my teaching. I give advice about schools and
My clients include those that are publicly well known as-well-as those from the general public. I am a 100% committed tutor; one that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for additional phone discussions or extra homework if needed. I am also there to support and to be a sounding board for parents- to help advise and reassure, to be a pastoral and academic coach as well as an effective tutor. I am constantly in communication with parents throughout the working day. We work as a team to achieve the best for your child. I very rarely cancel sessions and I also tutor during the school holidays.
My current tutees are based in St. George's Hill, Weybridge, Esher, Oxshott and the surrounding areas. Some also come from further areas, such as Windsor. I have a vast and varied experience and success of tutoring children for confidence, classroom support and entrance exams (7+, 8+, 10+, 11+ and 13+) and many phone and written references that can support this.
Tuition sessions are completely personalised to suit your child’s needs. I have tutored successfully for entrance into a variety of schools including: St. Paul's, Eton, LEH, St. George's, Shrewsbury Lodge, Surbiton High, Hampton Prep and Hampton School, Tiffin (boys' and girls'), Kingston Grammar School, St Paul's, Reeds, Wimbledon High, Sir William Perkins, Milbourne Lodge, Radnor House, Wickham Abbey, Marist, St. Catherine's (Twickenham and Bramley), The Mall, Reading Blue Coats, Royal Grammar School, King's College, Notre Dame, Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools, Nonsuch, St. John's, Harrow, Henrietta Barnett, Queen Elizabeth's School, Sutton, Wilson's and many more schools.

I have many contented clients who go on to recommend me to other people, or I go on to tutor siblings. I have also found, with my growing success, that my clients request to be supported after exams until they begin their new journey at their new school. I am based in Walton On Thames.
I am passionate about tutoring and take it seriously and expect that cancellations are only made if there is an emergency because weekly sessions need to take place for a child to progress and succeed to the best of their ability. I would advise against long holidays during the run- up to the exams. I am usually booked up quickly and would recommend being contacted as early as possible for bookings.

My latest achievement has not only been getting children accepted into the school of their choice and more, but for some of my tutees to achieve academic scholarships to top private schools.

THE FIRST TUTORING SESSION:
The first tutoring session will usually be an assessment session that comes with an optional report addressing current gaps in learning and next steps.
