About Anwesha

I am a Hindustani Classical Vocalist and educator, combining traditional training with active performance experience. I have performed at classical music festivals and concert platforms across India, appeared on Doordarshan (India’s national television), and contributed vocals to the background score of a Bengali feature film. My academic training includes Sangeet Alankar (Postgraduate) with Distinction, Gold Medalist in Sangeet Visharad, and an MA in Hindustani Classical Vocal. In addition, I hold a Master’s degree in Obstetrics Nursing, which informs a refined, science-aware approach to voice care, breath control, and vocal longevity. With over 8 years of teaching experience, I mentor students across India, the USA, the UK, and Europe, offering structured, disciplined training for those who seek depth, clarity, and authentic musical growth. My teaching is ideal for learners who value serious guidance, cultural integrity, and long-term progression.

About the lesson
