I am a retired teacher of 18 years, having taught 6th Grade World Cultures , 8th Grade U.S. History, 10 Grade World History, 11th Grade On Level and AP US History, and Government.
Aside from this, I have multiple online certifications, and extra training in History, Global Architecture, and Archaeology.

For the sake of tutoring , I will meet you where you are at. For example, if you are a Texas student preparing for the end of the year State Exam , and you are covering Reconstruction ( post-Civil War), I will use many released Exam Questions, and Resources from various Textbooks, Clips from the History Channel where we will apply the Socratic Method ( Q&A- See Law School Process) and then apply them to the questions asked ( and apply testing strategies). If you are a 10th Grader in Pennsylvania, in World History and find interest in the Roman Empire- Then we will be covering the Punic Wars, the Roman Republic, the Rise of the Empire under Augustus, and the Julio-Claudian dynasties. The lesson will be tailored to the context requested. However, in the case of continuous lessons, I usually use the Texas Curriculum Pacing Guide for events in American History combined with the chronology of American Presidents. For World History it's less sequential due to the nature of various cultures on various continents
