About Akisha
MSc Musculoskeletal Sports Science & Health (Loughborough). BSc Physiotherapy. HCPC registered. Certified in Safeguarding & Protecting Children and Emergency First Aid at Work. I teach anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, biomechanics, and research methods with structured objectives, worked examples, retrieval practice, and mastery checks. Neuroinclusive design by default. Professional, punctual, syllabus-aligned, explicit rubrics, safeguarding protocols. I teach adults, teens, and small kids/school-age learners. I focus on each student individually and ensure learning is complete; I do not “deliver and leave.” I stay until the concepts are understood and retained, especially for younger learners.

Tutoring approach Techniques and methodology Diagnostic pre-assessment - precise goals per learner. Worked examples, Socratic questioning, rapid error-correction. Retrieval practice, spaced repetition, and interleaving for retention. Deliberate practice with immediate feedback, mastery checks every 15–20 min.
