About Alessia
I have gained expertise in science through my education at the University of Toronto where I study Human Biology, Immunology, and Art History. I also work as a Medical First Responder and in a Cancer Research lab where I apply this knowledge in the real world! I have many hobbies like reading, crocheting, and doing yoga in my spare time! And a fun fact about me is that I received a fellowship to study abroad in Paris where I learned about Renaissance Art and Architecture! I value a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to education, and through my art history program I am able to see the sciences from a unique perspective!

- My teaching methodology is to create individualized learning plans for each of my students. I will get to know the student, their comfort with the subject, and their learning style to create a tailored teaching plan that works best for them. - I volunteer as a high school student teacher where I work with the teacher to create lesson plans, deliver lectures, and grade assignments. I also spend extra time with students one-on-one who need additional support in their learning, giving me a great deal of experience in the teaching world! - My lessons are for elementary and high school students in science and biology.
