About Nilakhi
I am a postgraduate in Biotechnology from University of Hyderabad. I had secured the DBT-CEEB scholarship, an AIR 92 in the Combined entrance exam securing my place in Hyderabad University.
During my masters, I had to struggle quite a bit initially as the concepts of Biotechnology was new to me. Herein, I revisited my basics and put in extra effort to level the playing field.
In order to help the students build a strong foundation, I want to share not only my knowledge but also my experiences.
I hope biology after this will become more interesting!! Happy learning.

Biology can be boring!! Compared to the other science subjects, there is a fair bit of memorization and rote learning. But that is not to discount the fact that there are some core concepts which needs to be built!!
In the pedagogy that would be followed in my class, it will be a combination of teaching concepts in the form of question answers. Research has shown it to be a very effective mode of recalling, which is the key!!
