About Linda
I am a South African with more than 10 year's experience as an IELTS and English language teacher in Africa, Europe and Asia working with The British Council, EF English First and the London School of English.
I have examined many Indian candidates in my experience as an examiner so I am aware of the common language related issues you might have. For example, some students have a problem with 'v' and 'w' sounds and continuous errors with these in an exam will prevent you from getting higher than a 6 in pronunciation. I can help you identify the issue and practice so you manage and correct the issue.

My approach to teaching is student- centered and my students and their needs are the focus of the lesson and learning as I understand the motivation and needs they have for taking lessons.
My lessons are structured so I interview you to discuss your needs, and determine your current band score; before preparing a course especially for you, to enhance your strengths and work on any problem areas you may have, to ensure you get the best possible score in the exam
All my materials have been gathered and created by me. These have been collected over the years and focus on common mistakes and myths of students and candidates. For instance, even native speakers are unable to obtain a band 7 in writing because their writing is not organised well. I have put together lessons that help students analyse the topic and strategise their answers to fix this.
