About Tanyia
I am a retired teacher and counselor with over 30 years of experience in levels pre-K through 12. I hold a BS from Texas A&M University in Education Curriculum and Instruction, an MS in Counseling from the University of Houston CL, and an MEd from Lamar University in Educational Leadership. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy spending time in my garden, playing with my five grandchildren, and traveling.

Social science is the story of men and their motivations. It is not simply dates and times, why it happened, and how it happened, but it also includes human emotions and funny antidotes along the way. To achieve this I focus on both sides of an issue and let students make up their own minds regarding the event.
