About Salma
Hi my name is Salma
I have worked as a primary school teacher for three years. I have experience working with both KS1 and KS2. I have great skills, in pinpointing weaknesses and addressing them with pupils. This is furthered by my natural nurturing and supportive personality. I build rapports with pupils and share my principles of growth mindset with them. This has helped many children to progress more. I have worked with children of various abilities and dispositions, enabling me to have a wide scope of experience when reflecting on which teaching strategy is best. I am able to determine which strategy is best for individual children and seek to cater their learning for them. I break down complex learning into key concepts and work step by step into making sure children are confident and fluent in each.
I have also taught English as a foreign language for two and a half years to adults.
I enjoy teaching children and helping them achieve their goals.
