About Evan
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated Science tutor currently completing my MSc in Biotechnology at Imperial College London, following a First-Class Honours degree in Biotechnology from the University of Manchester. My academic background allows me to explain Biology clearly, accurately and with real scientific depth, while keeping lessons accessible for students at every level. I first began tutoring during sixth form at Abingdon, supporting GCSE students from Larkmead School. Since then, I have strengthened my communication, organisation and leadership skills through professional roles at Deloitte and Peninsula UK, giving me the clarity, patience and confidence needed to teach effectively. I am friendly, supportive and genuinely committed to helping students progress. My priority is to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, tackling difficult topics, and building the confidence needed to succeed in their exams. I take professionalism seriously, lessons are always well-prepared, structured and tailored to each learner’s goals.
