About Xinkai
I believe strong results come from combining clear guidance, high standards and consistent effort. Having tutored since 2020, and having experienced different teaching styles myself, I understand how much the right tutor can shape not only a student’s grades, but also their confidence, ambitions and future academic direction. I therefore adapt my teaching style to each student, focusing on the methods that help them learn most effectively. My aim is to act as both tutor and mentor — identifying weaknesses quickly, building strong problem-solving and exam technique, and giving students a clear pathway towards top grades and competitive exam performance.

I have six years of tutoring experience and have taught over 80 regular students across GCSE and A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as well as UCAT, school entrance examinations (including 13+ Westminster and Tonbridge), and UKMT competitions up to BMO Round 1. I have personal resources for all subjects and topics up to A-Level, and have led multiple group sessions for classes previously, with catered teaching styles based on different learning preferences.
My students have consistently made strong academic progress, with many improving from Grade 6 to Grade 8, or from Grade 8 to Grade 9, in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I have also supported multiple UCAT students in achieving scores within the 95th percentile or above.
